During day's stillness in the small hours with a balmy breeze God swaddles dreams. How does matter travel at the speed of light? Thinking about the relationship between matter and energy is God's puzzle to mac. Among her Bibles is the Chapman 60th edition Piloting and Feynman's commemorative lectures on physics. (Eugene Ehrlich has a place in the Oxford Bible collection as well.) What mac knows is that the Mendeleev placemat she mixes her coffee on is about what is missing.

As mac woke up very quickly her mind went to Star Trek and what it would take for a computer to map atoms and send that to another destination with light particles. Then the thought of what made matter matter was in motion. How would that fractal of a nucleus be mapped? McCoy had it right about avoiding the scrambling of molecules. Right about then it was time to pee. Does a cyclotron in the Southern hemisphere have the same swirly? Bending light in a magnet, God's handiwork. It is not possible to map atomic particles to one point in time. This is the physicist complement to Jesus illustration of the blind leading the leading blind, just replace pit with black-hole.

Obviously, this is about gravity. Time would not exist without distance. The significance of distance is relative to the bigness of the objects. Let's talk about those dates (not Medjool) and how God uses them.

Time, as in weeks, months, and years, is about moving away from a point of beginning with direction. Multiple dimensions, think vector components is a spot on analogy for the reader. Day and days present the greatest puzzle. Paying attention to how many times a verse includes what seems to be a calendar measure matters. Days are a singular dimension vector. A vector has both magnitude and direction. This is why nautical measures ended up in the hands of engineers. When you travel in a fluid (even with friction) calculus is handy.

In conducting Biblical thought experiments in time, it is reasonable to conjecture, weeks are two dimensions from a point of beginning, planar, months are volumetric. Years include changes, similar to a differential equation with a zeroth coordinate to measure change with knowing a final point. Days are the most granular division of activity. Further conjecture gets a reader thinking what if a week means consecutive duration of seven times. A furlong is fascinating because God's eighth day is when His Sabbath has ended and His Kingship begins.

Why map a monetary amount, gold, to a number that means a name? Currency was measured on a scale before nations minted their coin of the realm. Recall Abram measuring out the silver weight in coins on a scale? It is easy to see why one who exceeded in alchemy, Newton, set the gold standard of the royal treasury for purity and was capable of measuring when the kingdom was cheated when paid. This same kingdom also tamed the seven seas with a watch gyroscope. Oops, going after time, that gets your navy into a shit-pile with God. Using an invention shutting out everyone else on a scale so damned important to your economy, you assholes!
