Topiary
The leaven of the Pharisees is hypocrisy. God demanded that during His Passover celebration weeks, the leaven -- sourdough riser, participants tossed out. There are some layers here, not to be confused with the tissues of the bulb that resemble a mystical beast. (Dreamworks isn't dreamy.)
Imagine two loaves of bread. They are identical measures and materials. One of these showy loaves is placed on one side of a scale on a table before God's ark. Call this loaf Jesus. It sinks the scale. Exactly. The scale is honest. Now place the second identical loaf on the other side of the scale balance. Where did the needle of the balance come to rest?
A Physicist looks at this word problem and asks, "Why didn't you just state the masses of the two loaves? The relativity of this scale means the needle rests in the middle mark when the masses are equal." A Chemist asks, "Why didn't you define the volume?" Now the Rabbi sitting at the same bar says, "Pay attention to what you can't see to solve God's riddle."
Adam God charged with maintaining those two fruitless trees in the garden. He hedged them to keep them identical according to Eve's perception. He clipped one branch. Then Eve observed, "This one looks fuller than that one." Adam didn't see it at first, then he stood where she was standing, "Right." He moved in and clipped.
These two topiaries were the key to humanities serving God in righteousness or experiencing Satan's consequence to learn righteousness. God set Adam in place of headship over Eve. He needed to be sure she did not perceive the tree of knowledge of good and evil was different than the tree of life. Can you imagine that duty?
Headship is an office of relative authority. The one in the union, that God yokes together, who listens to Him, ox one. The second ox of the union is obedient to God with ox one bearing the consequence for the two and responsible for paying attention to ox two while listening to God.
How would the topiary have changed when Adam failed to keep his covenant with God to keep those trees looking identical to one another? (You can answer this question in prayer to God.) Israel has two kings. The second is Secretary of Domestic Tranquility in the Church of Christ. He takes office during Christ's heavenly kingdom over counter terrorism.
The Pharisees understood who the demon holder was that they spoke the same perverted logic language with. They also knew when they had sheep they could abuse with the letter of the law because these were the people that were not wicked. Leaven is the matriarch that understood the environment variable and set up contracts with unbalanced scales so the letter of the law had no meaning.
The Christ, unleavened, reasoned with illustrations in the environment variable that those with demons were using against those who were still fighting for righteousness. With Christ on the scale, no matter how the other loaf is leavened he makes the scales balance. This is love.
